Dragons and Horses |
| Dragons enjoy the company of horses and form bonds that last beyond lifetimes. Dragons are not immortal but can live for thousands of years. Horses, of course, have very short lives. When a dragon's horse dies, his soul is captured and placed in the body of a carousel animal. The horse's reward is the ability to touch the minds of the riders much as a dragon can touch the mind of a man. Lucky is the human that rides one of these, because his short ride takes him into a fantasy world that will live within his heart forever. (c) 1997 Gary Hipp
